Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint and finishes to vehicles, ensuring high-quality and visually appealing results. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive painting techniques, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines. The Auto Painter will play a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and quality of our automotive products.

Responsibilities:

Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces to ensure a smooth and even finish.

Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and other finishes to vehicles using appropriate painting techniques and equipment.

Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired finish and color tone, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Inspect painted vehicles for imperfections, ensuring a flawless and visually appealing appearance.

Collaborate with the production team to ensure the timely completion of painting projects and meet production targets.

Maintain painting equipment and tools, ensuring their proper functioning and performing routine maintenance as needed.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and successful project completion.

Provide input on process improvements and suggest innovative solutions to enhance the automotive painting processes.

Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices to enhance skillset and contribute to the continuous improvement of our automotive painting operations.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as an Auto Painter or a similar role in an automotive repair or manufacturing setting.

Proficiency in automotive painting techniques, including knowledge of different paint types, mixing ratios, and application methods.
