We are looking FOR a highly skilled and experienced AutoCAD automation expert to create, edit, and modify detailed 2D and 3D drawings and generate architectural designs based on specific inputs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating scripts to automate design generation and integrate them with a web-based platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Write and manage AutoCAD scripts using Auto LISP, .NET API, or similar technologies.
Automate the generation of architectural designs based on zoning codes and plot dimensions.
Collaborate with the full-stack developer to export 3D models in compatible formats and make sure the 3D model exports to formats like FBX or OBJ, suitable for viewing on the website.
Ensure seamless integration of AutoCAD with the website, ensuring timely and accurate model generation.
Add details to architectural plans.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 + years of experience in the respective field.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD scripting and automation.
Experience with Auto LISP, .NET API, or similar AutoCAD-related programming languages.
Knowledge of Autodesk Forge for cloud-based automation is a plus.
Ability to export 3D models in formats DXF, FBX, or OBJ.
Tasks:
- Create AutoCAD scripts to automatically generate designs based on zoning codes and plot dimensions.
- Integrate AutoCAD with the website, so that after you enter the zoning code and dimensions, it generates the appropriate design.
