- Create accurate, detailed, and precise technical drawings and blueprints using AutoCAD software for various construction projects, including structural, electrical, and mechanical designs.

- Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project specifications and requirements, ensuring that designs align with technical and regulatory standards.

- Visit project sites to gather data, perform measurements, and assess project needs for accurate drafting and design work.

- Update and revise existing drawings based on feedback from stakeholders, ensuring all changes are incorporated in line with project schedules and budgets.

- Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all drafted designs, checking work for compliance with local codes, building regulations, and client requirements.

- Maintain an organized archive of design documents, revisions, and technical reports, ensuring easy access for future reference and project tracking.

- Ensure the integration of various design elements (structural, electrical, plumbing) into a cohesive set of working drawings, coordinating changes between different teams.

- Use AutoCAD and other software to create 3D models of buildings and infrastructure, providing a clear visualization of the project for clients and project teams.

- Assist in the preparation of material take-offs and cost estimations by generating accurate design documents and quantities for construction materials.

- Ensure that designs comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards for construction projects.

- Provide support and guidance to junior draughtsman or new team members, offering mentorship in drafting techniques, software usage, and industry standards.

- Assist the project management team by ensuring that design deadlines are met and provide accurate timelines for drafting tasks.
