- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the assigned anesthesia speciality, using various methods such as lectures, seminars, workshops, and online platforms.
- Develop and update course syllabi, curricula, and teaching materials, ensuring alignment with the departmental and institutional standards and objectives.
- Assess and evaluate student learning outcomes, providing feedback and guidance to improve academic performance and foster professional growth.
- Supervise, mentor, and advise residents and fellows on their clinical training, research projects, and career development.
- Conduct original and innovative research in the field of anesthesia, securing external funding and grants as needed.
- Publish research findings and insights in reputable journals, books, and other academic outlets, maintaining a high level of scholarly productivity and impact.
- Participate in academic conferences, workshops, and seminars, presenting research papers and exchanging ideas with other experts in the field.
- Engage in clinical service and leadership, serving on various committees, boards, and councils within the department, faculty, and hospital.
- Collaborate with other faculty members, researchers, and external partners on interdisciplinary and cross-institutional projects and initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the department head or dean.
