The faculty is expected to undertake the following teaching, development, Research and extension activities.
1. Develop and implement innovative instructional methods.
2. Develop professional logistics to improvise student performance.
3. Supervise and support teaching assistants.
4. Assess, review and evaluate student activities and progress.
5. Assist and support senior professors in their day-to-day tasks and functions.
6. Prepare course materials such as syllabi, assignments and handouts.
7. Develop instructional materials
8. Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records
9. Guide, lead and mentor students in research projects.
10. Evaluate, monitor and mentor student academic progress.
11. Create, innovate and implement career-enhancement programs and activities.
12. Evaluate and grade students' class work, laboratory work, assignments, and papers.
13. Keep abreast of developments in the field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences.
14. Stay informed about current developments in their respective field of specialization
15. Participate in departmental and college activities.
16. Serve and support functional activities of departmental committees
17. Attend training sessions or professional meetings to develop or maintain professional knowledge.
18. Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
19. Evaluate effectiveness of educational programs.
20. Develop instructional objectives.
21. Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues.
22. Initiate, facilitate, and moderate class discussions
23. Advise students on academic and vocational curricula and on career issues.
24. Serve on academic or administrative committees that deal with institutional policies, departmental matters, and academic issues.
25. Provide professional consulting services to government or industry.
