Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- GST Compliance:

Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other

relevant forms.

Monitor changes in GST laws and regulations, and implement necessary updates to

ensure compliance.

Conduct regular internal audits to identify and rectify any discrepancies related to

GST.

Income Tax Compliance:

Prepare and file Income Tax returns by applicable laws and regulations.

Stay abreast of changes in Income Tax laws and advise management on potential

impacts.

Coordinate with external tax consultants for complex tax matters and audits.

- Liaison with Departmental Authorities:

Establish and maintain effective communication with regulatory and departmental

authorities.

Respond promptly to queries and requests for information, ensuring a positive

relationship with relevant stakeholders.

- Training and Awareness:

Conduct training sessions for relevant teams on compliance procedures, audit

expectations, and regulatory updates.

Foster a culture of compliance awareness and responsibility within the organization.

- Documentation and Record Keeping:

Maintain comprehensive records related to GST and Income Tax compliance.

Ensure all relevant documentation is organized and readily accessible for audits and

reviews.

- TDS Compliance:

Ensure accurate deduction and timely deposit of TDS as per the Income Tax Act.

Prepare and file TDS returns within the prescribed deadlines.
