Job Description

Accounting and book-keeping: Job requirements

1.  Thorough skills of maintaining the books of accounts on accrual basis

2.    Books finalisation

3.    Tax accounting

4.    Maintaining effective data repositories 

Payroll

1.    Working knowledge of payroll processing for companies

2.    Tax computations and salary slips

3.    Working knowledge of PF/ESI and Labor law provision.

Direct Taxation

1.    Thorough knowledge of TDS/ advance tax/ Income tax provisions applicable on private limited companies

2.    Filing of returns of TDS/ Income tax etc

Indirect taxation

1.    Thorough knowledge of GST return filing and deposit procedures

2.    Knowledge of annual returns in form GSTR 9 and GST reconciliations

Corporate Law - Working knowledge or basic knowledge of corporate law is preferred. Expertise or extensive experience is not required

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

1.    Good to Excellent communication skills

2.    Managing client relationships through prompt communication

3.    Quick turnaround time

4.    Following the protocols set for managing the accounts

5.    All round control over the finance function of the companies

6.    Willing to work in teams

7.    Very well versed with Microsoft Excel and MS Office
