Responsibilities for Area Sales Manager:-
1. Regularly review sales data and create reports for senior-level officers
2. Utilize business intelligence tools to provide sales insights to marketing and sales staff
3. Travel to organization locations within a given area to meet with and manage sales staff
4. Review sales policies and update policies and curriculum as needed
5. Identify both struggling and successful sales initiatives and explore ways to improve on sales metrics
6. Communicate actively with sales teams in a given area to help foster a team environment
7. Plan and execute sales meetings to help provide feedback and sales insights
8. Interview and train new sales employers, and overseeing other onboarding tasks as needed
9. Managing, Training and Motivating Existing Sales Team to Drive Revenue Growth
10. Develop and Manage Efficient Distribution Networks for Sales
11. Collecting Customer and Market Feedback and Reporting the Same to the Organization
12. Monitoring Sales Team Performance, Analyzing Sales Data, Periodical Forecasting and Reporting to Zonal Heads

Qualifications for Area Sales Manager :
1. A Master's degree in business administration (MBA), marketing, or related fields may be preferred
2. Specialized licenses or certificates may be required for some area manager positions in highly technical industries 1-5 years of experience required, depending on past sales experience and industry
3. Proven sales experience and knowledge, including familiarity with current trends in sales methods
