Job Description of an Area sales Manager
1. Strengthen the distribution and sales network Outlets to the maximum possible extent in the assigned territory. Ensure existing customers are adequately serviced
Understand the market demographics and drive sales strategy according to customer segments
Drive the basic distribution parameters such as Channel profitability and Channel satisfaction
Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts
Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. Prepare monthly, quarterly sales forecasts
Develop a comprehensive sales and distribution strategy to maximize sales opportunities.
Identify right guidelines for channel partner scouting, identify and onboard channel partners in designated areas.
To ensure that all payments are collected as per the company's payment terms.
Develop timely Market Intelligence reports, detailing the changing customer trends and competitors' performance
Work closely with the network team to understand and improve in the markets
Appreciate the contributions and accomplishments of sales employees through proper rewarding mechanism.
Develop performance improvement plan for sales team to meet performance goals.
Skills Requirements-
2-3yrs of experience into B2B sales & Channel Sales is Must.
A strong commitment to complete tasks on time
