Title: Area Sales Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

Managing, training, and providing overall guidance to the sales of an assigned territory.

Setting reasonable sales targets.

Monitoring the performance of the sales and to meet or exceed sales targets.

Collecting customer feedback and providing updates to senior management.

Traveling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.

Utilizing outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings with customers to close sales.

Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with customers.

Implementing a sales management process to identifying and prioritizing key customers and prospects. Maintaining and increasing sales of your companys products Reaching the targets and goals set for your area Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base Servicing the needs of your existing customers Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market Setting sales targets for individual reports.

Recruiting and training sales staff Developing sales strategies and setting targets

Gathering and examining sales data Possibly dealing with some major customer accounts yourself Collecting customer feedback and market research Keeping up to date with products and competitors

Increase business opportunities by implementing the right sales strategies

Establish and cater to a customer base keeping in mind the basic area sales manager roles and responsibilities

Compile sales strategies in accordance with the company's overarching goal, vision, and values.

Build brand awareness specifically for a geographical area as a sales field manager

Review, improvise and update sales policies and strategies as and when the situation arises, keeping in mind the scope of the company

Maximizing profit sales across stores in the assigned region.

To achieve sales targets as per the companys sales strategies.
