Architecture Designer Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist with the calculation of project costs, including materials, labor, and other expenses

2. Maintain and update locality-level data related to construction costs, building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant information

3. Contribute to the design of project elevations, considering aesthetic, functional, and contextual factors

4. Develop design concepts, incorporating feedback and adhering to project requirements

5. Prepare project reports, including written documentation, graphical representations, and presentations to effectively communicate design proposals

6. Assist in conducting research on materials, construction techniques, and sustainable design practices to inform project development

7. Participate in site visits to gain a better understanding of project context and to document observations

8. Work on using AI tools to enhance project proposals and designs

Requirements:

1. Completed a degree in architecture or a related field from an accredited institution

2. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design and visualization software

3. Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain and update data accurately and efficiently

4. Proficiency in creating design elevations, incorporating aesthetic and contextual considerations
