Architectural Draughtsman

Our firm is seeking a talented and detail-oriented draftsman to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with architects and designers to create detailed drawings and plans for a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in drafting for architecture + interior, as well as a strong understanding of AUTOCAD and construction techniques.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create detailed drawings and plans using drafting software, such as AutoCAD..

• Work collaboratively with architects and designers to ensure that project specifications are met

• Prepare construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, and sections

• Should have experience in site visit for coordination.

• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from architects and project managers

• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project deadlines are met

• Follow building codes and regulations to ensure compliance with local and national standards

• Maintain accurate records of project documentation and revisions

• Attend project meetings and assist in the coordination of project schedules

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in drafting or a related field

• 1-2 years of experience in drafting for architecture

• Proficient in drafting software, such as AutoCAD and Blender

• Strong understanding of construction techniques and building codes

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
