Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed technical drawings and blueprints based on project requirements and specifications.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to understand project objectives and deliver high-quality design solutions.

Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create and modify drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Review and interpret sketches, rough drawings, and 3D models to develop comprehensive and precise construction documents.

Perform site visits and measurements as needed to gather essential project information.

Maintain documentation and drawing records, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible to the team.

Assist in identifying potential design issues and proposing solutions to optimize project outcomes.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in design processes and workflows.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Draughtsman or in a similar role in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.

Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or similar tools.

Solid understanding of construction and engineering principles and techniques.

Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

A diploma or degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
