Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Application Specialist located in Mumbai. The IT Systems Specialist is responsible for administering and supporting all systems, databases, and integrations within the organization, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft SQL, middleware, and integration. This role ensures the effective operation and performance of systems, providing escalation management and technical support to IT staff and business units.

Critical experience:

3+ Years Middleware and Integration administration experience.

2+ Years experience with FlowGear.

2+ Years development background (Coding)

Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining integrations using FlowGear or similar integration platforms.

Strong knowledge of API integration, REST, SOAP, and various data formats (JSON, XML).

Proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript, Python, PowerShell or others relevant to integration.

Familiarity with database management systems and SQL.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Experience in error handling and debugging of integration issues.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

5+ Years Microsoft SQL Experience

Proven experience working as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA

Demonstrated proficiency in supporting and maintaining Microsoft SQL within the context of a Sage environment.

Experience with SQL Server 2012/2014/2016/2017/2019

Experience with PowerShell, SSIS and SSRS

Strong understanding of SQL Server performance tuning and optimization

Minimum Education:

Degree or relevant diploma in information technology

CompTIA Data+

Middleware / Integration Certification

FlowGear certification

Microsoft SQL Certifications

Atlassian Jira fundamentals (Service management)

Technical competencies/ Professional expertise:

Proven experience working as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA
