Looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. The individual should be capable of:

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Work with outside data sources and APIs

Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements

Translating user experience design (mockups, wireframes and user journeys) into code.

Architecture Design Pattern, Knowledge about jetpack components, Local Database (Room,SQLite), Firebase Usages, Java, XML basics, Implementing navigation, Notifications, Working with API data.

Awareness of data structure and open source databases would be an asset.

Knowledge of one of the cloud platforms AWS or Azure or Google Cloud is desirable and not essential.

Knowledge of secure development practices with troubleshooting complex application workflows and tuning.

Thrive in an environment that requires you to partner with cross-functional teams as stakeholders.

Exposure to scrum based methodology in a product development environment.

Good oral and written communication skills.
