Overview-Anesthesia technicians are responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

Preparing equipment and the room: Ensuring the anesthesia machine, equipment, and room are ready for the anesthesiologist and patient

Maintaining supplies: Ensuring there are enough anesthesia supplies, medical oxygen, nitrous oxide, and air

Assisting with procedures: Helping with the induction of anesthesia, intubation and extubation, and sterile procedures

Monitoring equipment: Monitoring equipment while a patient is under anesthesia

Cleaning and disinfecting: Cleaning and disinfecting equipment and supply carts after use

Maintaining equipment: Inspecting, calibrating, and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment

JOB DESCRIPTION

PROFILE: ALL HEALTHCARE/MEDICAL INDUSTRY

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS DIPLOMA

EXPERIENCE: FRESHERS/ EXPERIENCE

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Permanent

Full-time (240 days including holiday).

This is an annualized role so hours worked may vary from month to month.
