Passenger service

Helping passengers with check-in, flight queries, and boarding passes. They may also assist passengers with special needs or disabilities.

Security

Screening passengers and their luggage, and ensuring the safety and security of passengers at the airport.

Flight operations

Planning, monitoring, and controlling flight operations, including boarding, baggage safety, and on-board refreshments.

Ticket sales

Selling tickets at the airport kiosk.

Reservations

Taking reservations from passengers who call in, and assisting with reservation changes.

Baggage

Checking in baggage, tagging it correctly, and handling the loading and unloading of luggage from the aircraft.

Aircraft

Ensuring that the aircraft is clean before each departure.

Grounds

Overseeing the general condition of taxiways, runways, and field lighting. They may also make minor repairs and conduct preventive maintenance.

Airport staff work in shifts and play an important role in daily operations.
