A ramp executive's job is to ensure the smooth running of ramp operations by performing audits, making recommendations, and developing action plans:

Perform audits: Regularly audit ramp and technical ramp operations to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Make recommendations: Recommend improvements to address areas of non-compliance

Develop action plans: Develop action plans to prevent possible safety or security issues

Ensure smooth operations: Ensure the smooth running of ramp operations by coordinating ground service activities

Identify hazards: Identify hazards during ramp operations and report to supervisors

Interpret and follow safety standards: Interpret and follow safety and security standards for teams

Prepare flight reports: Prepare flight reports on ramp performance

Report breaches: Report breaches in safety and security standards to higher authorities
