Job Summary:

The ground staff is responsible for providing exceptional service and support to passengers and ensuring the smooth operation of airport activities. This role involves various functions, including check-in, baggage handling, customer service, and coordinating with other airport personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Passenger Check-In: Assist passengers during the check-in process, verifying travel documents and issuing boarding passes.

Baggage Handling: Manage the loading and unloading of luggage, ensuring proper handling and delivery to the correct flights.

Customer Service: Address passenger inquiries and concerns, providing information about flight schedules, gate changes, and airport services.

Safety Procedures: Follow all safety regulations and protocols to ensure the well-being of passengers and staff.

Coordination: Collaborate with flight crews, security, and other ground personnel to ensure seamless operations.

Lost and Found: Manage lost baggage claims and assist passengers in locating their belongings.

Operational Support: Assist with aircraft servicing, including fueling, cleaning, and preparing the aircraft for departure.

Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records and reports related to passenger services and baggage handling.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality or travel management is a plus.

Previous experience in customer service or airport operations is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.

Proficiency in [any relevant software or systems].

Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy baggage (up to 50 lbs).

Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
