Job Summary: As an Air Ticketing Staff member, your primary responsibility is to assist passengers with their travel needs, including booking and issuing airline tickets, providing information on flights, fares, and schedules, and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
Key Responsibilities:
Ticket Booking: Assist customers in booking airline tickets, both through online booking systems and in person.
Flight Information: Provide accurate and up-to-date information on flight options, schedules, and fares.
Check-in Services: Facilitate the check-in process by issuing boarding passes, tagging luggage, and ensuring passengers' compliance with airline regulations.
Reservations: Handle reservations, changes, and cancellations as per airline policies.
Customer Service: Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Payment Processing: Collect payments for tickets and additional services, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
Baggage Handling: Assist passengers with luggage, ensuring proper tagging and handling.
Compliance: Stay informed about airline policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure proper documentation of passenger information.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of airline reservation and ticketing systems.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle transactions accurately.
Familiarity with airline policies and procedures.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a similar role within the airline industry.
