Job Summary:
The Air Ticketing Executive is responsible for processing flight bookings, providing customer
assistance, and ensuring smooth and efficient ticketing operations. This role involves assisting
customers in booking domestic flights, managing reservations, issuing tickets, handling payments,
and providing related travel information. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to
detail, and knowledge of the airline industry, ticketing systems, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Flight Booking and Reservations:
o Assist customers in booking domestic flights according to their travel preferences and budget.
o Offer detailed information about flight schedules, routes, and prices to customers.
o Search and recommend the best available flight options using the airline & reservation system (GDS Global Distribution System, ., Amadeus, TBO,&1-Source).
o Process bookings, confirm reservations, and ensure all flight details are correct.
2. Ticket Issuance and Management:
o Issue and reissue airline tickets accurately, ensuring all relevant details (passenger name, flight details, dates) are correct.
o Ensure tickets are issued according to the company & policies and airline requirements.
o Handle ticket cancellations, refunds, and changes in compliance with the airline & terms and conditions.
o Manage ticketing deadlines and ensure timely issuance.
3. Customer Service & Assistance:
o Address customer queries related to flight bookings, baggage policies, check-in procedures, and travel restrictions.
o Provide advice on the best flight routes and timings based on customer preferences.
o Assist customers with changes to bookings, seat selections, and special requests (., dietary needs, assistance with mobility, etc.).
o Handle complaints or issues related to tickets or flight reservations and provide appropriate resolutions.
4. Fare Calculation & Payment Handling:
o Provide customers with detailed information on flight fares, taxes
