An agribusiness coordinator's job profile may include:

Capacity building

Coordinating the training of farmers and project staff in agribusiness management

Market research

Identifying crops with high market value and researching value-chain schemes and markets for farm produce

Communication

Building communication structures to keep project staff and partners updated on their roles and responsibilities

Project coordination

Ensuring that project activities are completed within the proposed timeline and budget

Collaboration

Working with procurement units to obtain agribusiness inputs and services

Training

Collaborating with project service providers to offer training on commodity standards and post-harvest handling and storage

Mentorship

Supporting coaching and mentorship activities for youth-led businesses

Field visits

Conducting monthly field visits and meetings with beneficiaries and stakeholders

Reporting

Preparing and submitting regular reports to the director, project manager, and cluster managers

Partnerships

Developing partnerships with local shops / agriculture items suppliers to improve communication and evaluation
