 LAGAL ASSOSIATE

 We are looking to hire a legal assistant with superb research and administrative skills. Legal assistants are expected to work well under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

 To ensure success, legal assistants should be proficient at multi-tasking, intuitive and excellent communicators with a keen interest in providing accurate and insightful support to lawyers and legal teams. Top candidates will be experts in key legal concepts with fantastic organizational skills, great IT skills and meticulous attention to detail.

 Responsibilities

 Everyday responsibilities of a legal associate include:

 Managing client cases from start to finish

 Communicate with clients in person, over the phone, and via email

 Draft, proofread, and file or send legal documents, such as motions or letters of intent

 Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining lawyers�� calendars, scheduling appointments, making photocopies, and compiling complex documentation

 Create and maintain case files, including producing and editing transcripts

 Screen, direct, and prioritize incoming calls and emails to lawyers

 Perform legal and background research when requested

 Advanced critical and legal reasoning skills

 Problem solving

 Decision making

 Ability to project manage to a high standard

 Ability to work independently

 Excellent legal English skills
