Job Description

- Record purchase and sales transactions related to bitumen and other construction chemicals.

- Monitor and manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.

- Oversee accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments from clients and distributors.

- Reconcile delivery notes and purchase orders with invoices for accuracy.

- Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to track chemical stock levels and reconcile physical vs. recorded inventories.

- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.

- Prepare periodic financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly MIS reports for management review.

- Track expenses and payments related to specific construction projects or clients.

- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements related to GST, TDS, income tax, and company law.

- Coordinate with vendors for reconciliation of accounts and timely resolution of disputes.

- Assist the sales and procurement teams with financial insights and client/vendor account summaries.

- Maintain proper filing of financial documents, including contracts, tax documents, and payment proofs.
