Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records, including invoices, receipts, and expenditure documentation.
Record and categorize financial transactions in the accounting system.
Input financial data accurately into accounting software.
Organize and maintain physical and digital financial files for easy retrieval.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Generate periodic financial reports for management review.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Collaborate with the accountant, finance team, and other departments to address financial queries.
Provide support in responding to financial inquiries from stakeholders.
Assist with administrative tasks related to financial and accounting functions.
Perform any other duties or tasks assigned by the accountant or management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience as an accountant assistant or in a similar role is advantageous.
Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and accounting software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
