In 30th September 1974, Our U N Murugesan & Co., shortly termed as “U&Me” was established by Shri. . Murugesan. The company initially had lakhs turnover and now it turns into a multi-crores business firm, backed by the efforts of our management, staffs, the patronage of esteemed customers and the cooperation of reliable vendors. In earlier stages, Lungies are printed with wooden blocks. Later U & Me have done printing on a wet cloth and slowly imposed it on Lungies too. Then screen prints got developed at that time. Art print and Wax print have been done in sequence at U&Me’s own unit named “Subbulakshmi Wax Prints”. Suguna print has become very famous and created a benchmark design in this industry which was made by U & Me. In 1997 Mr. got into the business and took charge of a division. In 1998 Mr. got into the business and took charge of another division. With full vision and mission, they got into this company and introduced many new designs and expanded the market gradually. The responsibility & dynamic leadership of the management made U & Me as the fastest growing company in the Textile Industry.
