We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, invoices, receipts, and bank statements.

Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights and recommendations to management.

Conduct regular and ad-hoc financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulations.

Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as the finance team and department managers, to provide financial information and support decision-making.

Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Stay updated on accounting standards and industry best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.

Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance is a plus.

Professional certification, such as CPA or ACCA, is a plus.
