Job Overview:

We are seeking an Accountant to join our team who has a basic understanding of accounting principles and some experience working with different accounting tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling accounting tasks such as maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and processing payments. They will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting and support the overall financial operations of the company.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded and documented

· Prepare financial statements and reports on a regular basis

· Manage accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely payment processing

· Reconcile bank statements and other financial records

· Prepare and file tax returns in a timely manner

· Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts

· Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting

· Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

· Use accounting software and tools to complete tasks efficiently

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

· At least 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field

· Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

· Experience using accounting software such as Quickbooks or Xero

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial records

· Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others

· Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
