Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Accountant to join our team. The
Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the business, including bookkeeping and GST compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of bookkeeping processes, as well as a thorough understanding of GST regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Ensure GST compliance and reporting
Prepare and file GST returns
Prepare budgets and forecasts
Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
Monitor and analyze financial performance
Identify areas for cost savings and process improvement
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
Provide accurate and timely financial advice and analysis
Liaise with external auditors and other stakeholders
Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
1-year experience in accounting or related field (freshers can also apply).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven experience in bookkeeping and GST compliance.
Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
