Job Title: Accountant
Location: Sector 15 Belapur, Mumbai
Our Chartered Accountancy firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated accountant to join our team. As an accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for our clients, ensuring compliance with local regulations and laws, and assisting with the preparation of financial statements.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for clients using accounting software and other tools.
• Analyse financial information and identify areas for improvement or potential risks.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and other financial transactions.
• Work with clients to resolve any accounting or financial issues they may have.
• Provide financial advice and guidance to clients, as needed.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and accounting standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, and Xero.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm will be an added advantage.
