We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to take full responsibility of the companys accounting operations. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of our accounting process, including invoicing, updating sales and purchase records, tax filings (including GST and Income Tax returns), and closely coordinating with our Chartered Accountant (CA). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, proven experience with financial operations, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoicing & Billing: Create, issue, and track all company bills and invoices to ensure timely payments.
Sales & Purchase Updates: Maintain accurate records of all sales and purchase transactions and ensure they align with financial documentation.
Income Tax & GST Filing: Manage the timely filing of income tax returns and GST returns, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Coordination with CA: Work closely with the Chartered Accountant (CA) to provide necessary documentation, resolve issues, and ensure accurate tax filings.
Payment Reminders: Monitor overdue payments and proactively remind the owners and relevant parties about delayed payments.
Financial Reporting: Generate and maintain up-to-date financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Audit Preparation: Prepare all necessary documentation for audits, ensuring that everything is organized and compliant.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all accounting processes and records comply with current financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Commerce background in schooling, with a focus on mathematics.
A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
