The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the financial affairs of high-net-worth individuals and families. This includes providing a wide range of accounting, tax, and financial planning services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and tax laws, as well as the ability to build relationships with clients and provide them with personalised advice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and file tax returns for individuals and families
Manage financial investments and portfolios
Develop and implement financial plans
Advise clients on tax planning and risk management strategies
Prepare financial statements and reports
Reconcile bank accounts and investment statements
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Track expenses and budgets
Assist with audits and other financial reviews
Build and maintain relationships with clients
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience in personal accounting or a related field
Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax laws
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
