As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our finance department by overseeing various aspects of accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial records, drive process improvements, and provide valuable insights that contribute to informed decision-making. Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations. Prepare and review complex financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards. Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data. Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate smooth annual audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Oversee and assist in the preparation of tax returns, including income tax, GST, and other relevant filings. Evaluate and enhance internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and maintain the integrity of financial data. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the accounting team, fostering their professional growth and development. Actively participate in cross-functional projects aimed at process optimization, system implementations, and business expansion. Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and standards, implementing necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
