Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Accountant to join our organization. Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Conduct regular analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support decision-making processes.
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and ensure accuracy in reporting and budgeting.
Perform periodic internal audits to ensure proper controls and adherence to financial procedures.
Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and timely filing.
Provide support during external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes, and make recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are preferred.
