Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, with a strong background in GST (Goods and Services Tax) and TDS (Tax Deducted at Source). This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly and annual basis.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
GST and TDS Compliance:
Handle GST filings, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other related returns.
Manage TDS compliance, ensuring accurate deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS returns.
General Ledger Management:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate and timely financial reports.
Bank Reconciliation:
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance.
Audit Support:
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial and tax audits.
Ensure the implementation of audit recommendations.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in accounting procedures.
Vendor and Customer Interaction:
Liaise with vendors and customers regarding financial transactions and related inquiries.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
