Job Description

1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all construction projects, including material costs, labor costs, subcontractor payments, and overhead expenses.

2. Record daily financial transactions such as invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries into accounting software or systems.

3. Process and manage invoices from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring that all payments are processed on time and accurately.

4. Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments from clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

5. Track and monitor project budgets, ensuring that construction costs are within the approved budget and identifying any potential cost overruns.

6. Allocate and track costs to specific projects, ensuring that all expenses, including labor, materials, and equipment, are properly accounted for.

7. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

8. Analyze financial data to track performance, identify trends, and provide insights on the financial status of ongoing projects.

9. Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations, including VAT/GST, income tax, and other local taxes, related to construction activities.

10. Prepare and file tax returns for the company, ensuring that deadlines are met and payments are made on time.

11. Process payroll for all construction employees, including laborers, site supervisors, and office staff, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

12. Track and manage employee benefits, deductions, and statutory contributions (., Provident Fund, Employee State Insurance, etc.).

13. Monitor and manage the companys cash flow, ensuring that there are sufficient funds available to meet operational and project-related expenses.

14. Prepare cash flow projections to help manage working capital needs, ensuring smooth project execution without delays due to funding issues.
