Job Description

1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments.

2. Ensure that accounting entries are properly categorized in the companys accounting system (., QuickBooks, SAP).

3. Reconcile all financial accounts, including bank statements, credit card statements, and accounts payable/receivable.

4. Manage accounts payable, ensuring that all vendor invoices are processed, paid on time, and properly recorded.

5. Oversee accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and follow-up on outstanding payments from customers or clients.

6. Prepare aging reports to track overdue receivables and collaborate with the sales team to address payment delays.

7. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

8. Provide regular reports on the companys financial health, profitability, and operational performance to management.

9. Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budget reports, identifying trends and advising on potential cost-saving measures.

10. Monitor and track inventory levels and ensure that inventory records are accurately reflected in the financial system.

11. Work closely with the procurement and sales teams to track the cost of goods sold (COGS) and optimize inventory turnover.

12. Analyze inventory-related costs and assist in setting appropriate pricing strategies for the products.

13. Ensure timely preparation and filing of tax returns (sales tax, VAT, income tax, etc.) in compliance with local and international tax laws.

14. Assist in the preparation for audits, ensuring that financial documentation is complete and accurate.

15. Stay updated on any changes to tax regulations or laws that may impact the business, and provide recommendations for compliance.

16. Oversee the preparation and processing of employee payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
