SAMP & Co. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.

Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, cash flow statements, and income statements.

Assist with tax return filing for various clients.

Participate in audits and ensure adherence to accounting standards.

Calculate and deposit TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and GST (Goods and Services Tax).

Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.

Assist senior staff with month-end closing procedures.

Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting regulations and best practices.

Prepare financial reports and analyze financial data to identify trends.

Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in a public accounting firm or similar environment.

Proven experience with record keeping, financial reporting, and tax return filing.

Working knowledge of TDS, GST, and other relevant Indian tax regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software (., Tally, Busy).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
