We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, analyzing data, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, invoices, receipts, and payments.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing procedures.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents to ensure accuracy.
Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Monitor and analyze budget variances and provide recommendations for improvement.
Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support for decision-making.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and company policies.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and compliance requirements.
Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is a plus.
