Job Description

1) General Summary of the position:

i. The Manager – Accounting is someone who works closely with the Sr. Manager – Accounting, Director, Auditor & the Leadership of the Company, to manage all aspects related to the accounting department of the Company.

ii. The candidate would be well versed with using Zoho-Books and Tally with the ability to follow accounting & book-keeping principles.

iii. The candidate would come with a minimum experience of 3 years in an accounting & book-keeping function, with a thorough experience of maintaining Ledgers, Accounts Payables and Receivables, Cash & Bank, Tax-Filing etc.

2) Job Purpose:

i) To manage and maintain all accounting related tasks daily.

ii) To coordinate with other departments to ensure that all accounting-related data is made available in a timely manner, to enable an accurate representation of business accounts to the company’s auditor and management.

3) Job Description: Assist the Sr. Manager – Accounts on the following –

i) Accounting Tasks –

(1) Bills Booking & Tracking Amounts & Due Dates – Purchases & Utility Bills.

I. Credit Card Bills Reco. – Segregation of Nature of Expense.

II. Petty Cash Tracking & Management of Vouchers using Zoho Books.

III. Scrutiny of Customer & Vendor Ledgers.

IV. Finalization of Books of Accounts during Monthly Closing.

V. Coordination with Auditors for Requirements & Timely Returns.

VI. Filing Systems for Important Company Documents.

VII. Bank & Cash Withdrawals.

ii. Payroll-Related –

I. Enforcing Employee Submission of Income Tax Declarations and Proof of Investments.

II. Verification of Employee Investment Proofs (Payroll related).

III. Addressing any Employee queries related to their TDS calculations.

IV. Providing Form 16 to Employees (if needed).

V. Coordination with EPF & ESIC Consultants and ensuring compliance.

iii. Statutory Compliance –

i) Verifying TDS Calculations.

ii) Ensuring TDS Payments on a timely basis.

iii) Coordination with CA Team to collect & file, Quarterly
