Job description
Role and responsibilities:
Responsible for day-to-day accounting and finance
Compliance responsibilities of the entity (GST, TDS, PF, ESI)
Verification, allocation posting and reconciliation of the accounts payable and receivables.
Maintenance of the proper books of accounts and the companys records like balance sheet, profit and loss account, tax liability, and maintenance of all other financial activities of the organization.
Preparation of MIS, general ledger, and other reports to the management
Preparation of budgets and investigation of errors and variance analysis and reasoning of the same.
Analysis of financial data for preparation of financial records and forecasting of budgets to management/clients
Co-ordination with different departments and strong relationship with clients
Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
Manage a small team of accountants, allocate task, monitor, conduct weekly reviews and performance reviews
Candidate requirement:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting required.
1 - 3 years experience in general or tax accounting
Practical understanding of accounting and finance functions
Basic understanding of GST / TDS / Income, Banking
Strong in Accounts Payable especially procurement to payables process
Experience with computerized ledger systems
Advanced knowledge of Excel, Tally
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Good communication and Email skills
