Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager cum

Head of Account Department to lead our accounting team. This role combines the

responsibilities of managing key accounts and overseeing the entire accounting

department to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Management:

Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support to

ensure high performance.

Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure

compliance with regulatory requirements.

Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets,

and forecasts.

2. Account Management:

Manage and nurture relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs

are met and expectations exceeded.

Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth and

profitability.

Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing any

issues or concerns promptly.

3. Financial Planning and Analysis:

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and

opportunities for improvement.

Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior

management.

Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational

goals.

4. Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and

regulations.

Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and

stakeholders.

Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.

Periodic reporting to the board on financial performance, key metrics,

and strategic initiatives.

5. Key Account Department Tasks:

Monitor and control outstanding balances to ensure timely collections

and minimize bad debts.

Manage recoveries by implementing effective strategies and processes.

Oversee the key account department to ensure efficient operations and

client satisfaction.
