Accounts Assistant Work Duties / Responsibilities

Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct. Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals. Recording and filing cash transactions. Controlling credit and chasing debt. Should know about busy software for making bills and all. Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings. Compute taxes and prepare tax returns. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
