Job Title: Assistant Manager - Accounts and Finance
Department: Accounts and Finance
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Financial Reporting:
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with Indian
accounting standards (Ind-AS).
o Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts
receivable, and general ledger.
o Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit &
loss statements, and cash flow statements.
o Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
2. Taxation:
o Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.)
and reconcile input tax credits.
o Manage Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) compliance, including calculation,
deduction, and filing of returns.
o Oversee Income Tax compliance, including advance tax calculations, tax audits,
and return filing.
o Handle Professional Tax (PT) and Employee Provident Fund (EPF) filings.
3. Audit & Compliance:
o Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits as per the Companies
Act, 2013 and Income Tax Act.
o Ensure compliance with MCA (Ministry of Corporate AƯairs) regulations,
including annual filings (MGT-7, AOC-4).
o Liaise with auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with all legal and
regulatory requirements.
4. Banking & Treasury:
o Manage daily banking operations, including fund transfers, bank reconciliations,
and loan management.
o Ensure proper maintenance of cash flow, liquidity planning, and fund
allocations.
5. Team Leadership:
o Supervise junior accounting staƯ and provide guidance on financial best
practices.
o Conduct training sessions on new financial regulations and accounting
software.

o 5-6 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the
pharmaceutical industry.
o Proven experience with Indian tax laws, including GST, TDS, and income tax
compliance.
