Job Summary: We seek a diligent and detail-oriented Account Associate to join our team in CST, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience working with a Chartered Accountancy firm. As an Account Associate, you will support our accounting team in managing daily accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and other documentation.
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Assist in preparing and filing tax returns, GST, and other statutory requirements.
Collaborate with auditors and provide necessary documentation and information during audits.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment follow-ups.
Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
Perform various administrative tasks to support the accounting department.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience working with a Chartered Accountancy firm.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Tally, QuickBooks, or other accounting software.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
Familiarity with financial regulations and standards in India.
