Key Responsibilities:
Financial Recordkeeping:
Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, expense reports, and general ledger entries.
Assist in reconciling bank statements and monitoring financial transactions to ensure accuracy.
Invoice Processing:
Prepare and process invoices for payment.
Verify the accuracy of invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors or internal departments.
Expense Management:
Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies.
Track and reconcile corporate credit card expenses.
Bookkeeping:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Input financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets.
Support Auditing:
Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.
Assist in conducting periodic inventory checks.
Vendor and Customer Relations:
Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding payment and billing inquiries.
Assist in resolving customer billing issues and inquiries.
Financial Analysis:
Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis as needed.
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant laws and regulations.
Stay updated on changes in accounting rules and regulations.
Data Entry and Filing:
Maintain organized and efficient filing systems for financial documents.
Accurately input and manage data in accounting software.
Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative assistance to the finance department.
Assist in special projects and ad-hoc financial tasks as required.
