Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative 3D Lighting Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for light, color, and composition and will be responsible for creating visually stunning lighting for 3D environments, characters, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement high-quality lighting setups for 3D scenes to enhance mood, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.

Collaborate closely with the art and animation teams to ensure cohesive visual quality.

Work with rendering pipelines and optimize lighting for real-time or pre-rendered projects as required.

Adjust and fine-tune lighting to align with creative direction and technical requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve lighting-related issues during production.

Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and techniques to bring innovative solutions to projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a 3D Lighting Artist in games, film, animation, or related industries.

Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software such as Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, or equivalent.

Experience with rendering engines like Arnold, V-Ray, Unreal Engine, or Unity.

Strong understanding of color theory, lighting techniques, and shading principles.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with scripting or automation tools to optimize workflows.

Experience with compositing software like Nuke or After Effects.

Knowledge of PBR (Physically Based Rendering) workflows.
