Job Title : 3D Game Designer

Job Description :

We are looking for a game designer with a passion for all genres of games, a knack for coding and storytelling, and an understanding of the industry, market and target audiences. You should possess a deep and comprehensive knowledge of the games industry and game design (learning curve, directing the player, difficulty levels, balancing, pacing, motivation & reward cycle, accessibility)

Responsibilities :

• Creating well-documented designs and fun game play features for a breakthrough game.

• Work closely with narrative design to ensure the story is carried out well throughout each level.

• Iterating, play-testing and analyzing user feedback and social metrics to adjust game play and design to continuously push the boundaries of the game’s design and feature set.

• Conceptualizing and developing characters, rules, settings and stories for new games.

• Pitching new game ideas to executives and clients.

• Prototyping new games.

• Building three-dimensional elements of the project, including characters, landscapes and visual effects

• Using a combination of hand-drawings and computer software to create graphics

• Developing design and gaming protocols.

• Doing quality control.

Skills required :

• An understanding of how to use software such as Adobe Photoshop and 3D Max

• Knowledge of tools such as Sketchup, Fusion 360, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Blender

• Creativity - designing the world of the game, characters, storyline, visual style

• Strong analytical mind

• Programming skills

Qualification : Bachelor's degree in game design, Computer science or computer engineering.

Programming Languages : Java, C++, Python, C#
